We are proud to announce that ESE has been awarded a contract to supply a three-tier shelving system at the new premises of BBC Outside Broadcasts. The system is derived from standard pallet racking and uses shelf beams and chipboard decking for the shelves and walkways. It was developed in response to the BBC's brief to develop a structure to maximise storage on the 39 metres long by 8.25 metres wide footprint and will be used to store the BBC's vast stock of broadcast equipment. After discussion, it was decided to take the structure up to 3 tiers (nearly 7 metres high) in order to take advantage of the height available.
