Access Ramps
With the Disability Discrimination Act of 1995, it’s becoming increasingly unacceptable for offices and workplaces of all descriptions to fail to provide access to disabled people. To assist in disability accessibility, we have an excellent range of sturdily-constructed wheelchair ramps and disabled ramps. Our Lightweight GRP Access Ramp may feel as light as a feather, but it’ll safely bear weights of up to 250kg. Moulded from glass-fibre reinforced plastic, it has a non-slip surface and rubber feet to keep it firmly in position at all times. On a larger scale, our ultra-lightweight aluminium ramps come in two designs – fixed length and extendable – but are manufactured in a range of sizes. Both have small, upright safety side curbs to prevent wheelchairs slipping off, and the surface is designed to be anti-slip. We’re confident that all our dda ramps are robust, easy to use and safe.
