Different features of sacks trucks
Wheels
Pneumatic tyre wheels provide smoother maneuverability over rough terrain and are the best choice of wheel type for outdoor use. Solid tyres are more commonly used in indoor applications when the sack truck is used on smooth floors. Being solid rather than filled with air solid wheels have the advantage that they do not puncture.
Construction
Steel or aluminium are the two type of material available for sack truck construction. Aluminium sack trucks are lighter in weight whilst still being strong, however these are generally more expensive. Steel sack trucks are painted or powder coated to provide rust resistance. Depending on how robust each sack truck is constructed each sack truck will have a maximum load capacity with heavy duty models being able to hold up to 350kg. A tubular sack truck will generally weigh less than a solid sack truck, however it will not be able to carry as heavy goods.
Handles
P handle sack trucks provide greater flexibility and allow easy pulling of a sack truck with just one hand. Regular two handle sack trucks have the handles at a tilted angle providing greater leverage when lifting a laden sack truck.
