These cupboards and cabinets are commonly used laboratories, stores, warehouse and anywhere where hazardous materials need to be stored safely and securely. Many of these cabinets have the option of adding additional shelves or a stand for raising the cabinet of the floor. There are also portable cabinets on wheels available where mobile storage of hazardous substances is required. The bright yellow colour cabinets make these ideal for hazardous storage with the yellow representing danger, signifying a warning.
The range of hazardous substances that are suitable to be stored in these storage cabinets include chemicals (such as acid, alkali and pesticides). The use of a flammables storage cabinet is highly recommended for fire safety, reducing the risk of a fire starting and spreading. Our FlamStor and FlamBank fire retardant cabinets are rated to 30 minutes fire protection. These storage cabinets are bunded to safely catch any leaked hazardous liquid.
