The large 80 litre capacity hopper for the salt means you have to fill it up less - giving you less downtime! The polyethylene hopper bucket is supported by a strong steel frame mounted on large 14 inch pneumatic wheels to give this unit a smooth ride over rough & uneven terrain.

Icy car parks and pavements around offices and factories are an accident waiting to happen and with liability laws placing responsibility on the employer to ensure the workplace is safe, it is essential that the premises is kept as risk free as possible, no matter what the weather. All paved and tarmac areas should be kept salted or gritted when snow and ice are forecast. Laying grit or salt is a time consuming task, but this salt spreader takes the effort out of the process, ensuring workers and visitors are able to gain access to the premises as soon as possible. It is supplied with a rain cover to keep salt dry whilst spreading.

With a maximum spread width of 3.6m this large capacity salt spreader is ideal for keeping car parks, playgrounds and walkways safe for employees, visitors and children to walk on in icy conditions, minimising the risk of painful falls. The product requires dry salt or grit to function correctly, damp materials may become clumped and get stuck in the hopper, so it's always best to ensure that you've attached the rain cover to your hopper just in case it starts to rain, or snow during spreading. Free UK mainland delivery on orders over £50 ex.VAT.

Orders under £50 ex.VAT - £5.95 delivery charge.

Postcode exceptions: HS, KW, ZE, IV, AB, DD, PH, PA, GY, JE, IM, BT, Isle of Anglesey, Isle of Wight and Eire.

Standard deliveries are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm to the GROUND FLOOR or KERBSIDE only (unless previously agreed in writing).
We are unable to confirm exact delivery times, but we can usually confirm a day if you let us know in advance.

Saturday deliveries, timed AM or PM or above ground floor deliveries are available at extra cost.
Oversized products requiring a crane or hiab offload may incur an additional charge.

At the time of delivery

An authorised person must be present to sign for delivery.
Failed attempts may result in a return delivery charge.
A request to leave goods without signature is entirely at your own risk.

Please check your delivered goods carefully.
ESE Direct cannot accept claims for shortage or damage after goods have been signed for.
The only exception is proof of a carrier note that is marked as damaged.
We must also be notified in writing within 24 hours of the delivery.
Please do not sign for any goods as 'unexamined' or 'unchecked' as carriers will not accept liability for any subsequent damage.
