Product description

Essential piece of kit for any business & local authority.

An AED (automated external defibrillator) is an essential component of a first aid kit. It truly can mean the difference between life and death. When you realise that over 30,000 people suffer a cardiac arrest every year and the fact that, without defibrillation, the chance of surviving a cardiac arrest falls by 10% every minute can there really be a reason not to have one.

One of the real benefits of the ZOLL AED Plus Semi-Automatic Defibrillator is its ease of use. Suitable for even a minimally trained first aider, this AED provides real CPR guidance for the user. The unique graphical interface includes pictures, text displays and voice prompts, ensuring you are always in control when delivering the life-saving aid. The semi-automatic feature administers a controlled, measured electric shock at the press of a button.

This Semi-Automatic Defibrillator is the only AED which uses an inexpensive 1234 photo flash lithium battery and the batteries will last up to 5 years in standby mode, giving you further peace of mind.

You can always be assured that the Defibrillator is in optimal working condition because the AED will conductself-tests. A red cross mark will appear and an alert sound immediately inform you about any fault in the functioning.

Customer Questions

Anonymous User - 16 Feb 2015

Q. What is the different between fully and semi defibrillators?

A. semi defibrillators has a button you would need to push to shock the patient and a fully will automatically shock the patient if it is required.

Anonymous User - 16 Feb 2015

Q. What about if I use the defibrillator on a patient and they did not need it?

A. When you attach the defibrillator to the patient, it will do an automatic reading to identify whether the customers requires a shock or not. If the customer doesn’t by the reading it tells you it wont physically shock the customer.

Anonymous User - 16 Feb 2015

Q. what about if I cant remember how many times I shocked the patient?

A. It records everything from the time its switched on to how many shocks you have given the patient. The ambulance would be able to put a usb stick into the defibrillator to find out what treatment the patient will require.

Anonymous User - 16 Feb 2015

Q. How long does the battery last for the defibrillators?

A. It lasts around 3-4 years. If the battery is bleeping you do need to change it asap, but you would get 50 shocks when the battery warning comes up.
