  • Shelving assembly mallet is most commonly used for tapping shelving beams into the uprights, although it could just as easily be used for other applications after you have assembled your shelving.
  • Designed for use with industrial Just Shelving, however it can be used on almost any other type of shelving as it has one rubber end and one plastic end (both of which are replaceable when they wear out)
  • Reduces the risk of accidents that can happen when shelving is slotted together; fingers or other body parts can get trapped between the components, which can cause serious injury

Product description

Shelving in a warehouse or storage room will often need to be moved about or adjusted to make it suitable for storing different shapes and sizes of stock or materials. The assembly for this item generally requires just hands, but it can be dangerous slotting shelving together by hand. Fingers can get caught between the shelving and the frame work, especially during the last little shove needed to slot things into place. As an alternative, a mallet is a good tool for tapping the shelves into place or for loosening them in order to move or rearrange the shelf heights.

The assembly mallet is designed specifically for use with the Just Shelving industrial or galvanised shelving units, but can be put to work in a number of other jobs around the factory or warehouse.

This is an inexpensive tool that will earn its value back in just a few hours of use by preventing accidents and making the shelf construction process even quicker and easier.
