This modular product is made to order to safely store the quantity of bikes you need. To order, simply decide whether you want a single or double sided rack and then enter the number of bikes you require to be stored. Please be aware in order for the racks to be structurally stable there is a minimum of a 3 bike capacity for the single sided racks and a 6 bike capacity for the double sided racks.
As the number of cyclists continues to rise it is essential that businesses & public places have enough secure locations for staff & visitors to safely store their bicycles. These rail mounted bicycle holders make use of a ‘V’ shaped holder that grips each bikes tyre without touching any other part of the bike.
This type of rack provides high density cycle storage, the combination of high and low holders mean that cycles are parked only 305mm apart (typical parking distance for Sheffield type cycle holders is 500mm) so they are ideal for use in restricted spaces e.g. cycle shelters, or sites that are often accessed by cyclists, e.g. schools, colleges and universities.
The galvanised steel tube and bar is manufactured to the BS EN ISO1461 British Standards & is supplied with alternate ramps 978mm long to provide a more compact storage solution. These ramps also enable quick and easy access to locks and chains when needed. Speaking of ramps, did you know we also supply bike wheeling ramps? They're a great solution for steps and stairs which can be problematic when pushing your bike.
Both the single and double sided racks are 686mm high, made from galvanised steel, surface mounted and are evenly spaced with 305mm between each parking centre. These are ideal for use with the Cambourne and Stratford cycle shelters.
These cycle racks are great, but what about parking for scooters? With scooting becoming more and popular, we also offer scooter racks for secure storage of your treasured scooter.
